Unheard “A world, Unheard, through the eyes of Society.” The Eyeth Newswoman signed, “The world, Eyeth, Earth does not even identify as a human world in the eyes of the Elder council. “We must rebel!” Kyle Lawbreaker signs as Siri voices for him, “The Empire has taken advantage of both our worlds for too long!” The year is 2056; the Empire has discovered a cure for Deafness. The world’s people are opposed to it, because it can cause an incredibly virulent disease
If a Deaf person is cured of his or her Deafness with the Cilian cure, then he or she has to be examined for two years, otherwise known as, quarantined. The disease can cause a person to blow up 24 hours within contracting it. The Cilian cure has already killed over 11 billion people in just a decade. The government is unable to do anything. The elder laws (set in 2040), require them to give this cure to ½ a million people. The elder laws cannot be broken. The people are rebelling. The result: World War III. Siri and Kyle were the leaders of the rebels. Kyle was the Unheard leader. Siri was the leader of the rest of the people. “The Elder council is too powerful!” Kyle signs as Siri voices, “Even now, the Elder laws are being expanded, new laws are being made. Oppressive laws. We are Unheard! We are Deaf! The Cilian cure is too virulent, and still they give it to us!” The crowd apparently seemed to agree with Kyle. The guards of the Elder council were nervous. The following battle was violent. Blasters pinged everywhere. The guards were eventually overrun. However, they had to take the doors down. Kyle ordered a battering ram to take them down. It smashed the doors continually for 2 weeks. By then, the Elder council had escaped to the sewers. The people searched for them, it was weeks before anybody could find them. However, the sewers were exhaustible, there was no escape besides the Elder building. The Unheard army found them. The Unheard army captured them with terrible casualties. Kyle signed, “Do not kill them! As of now, they are prisoners of war!” The sigh of relief of the Unheard army was audible throughout the sewers. The conflict was over. The Clian cure would not be distributed anymore. The Cilian cure would be carefully disposed of, perhaps in another galaxy. The worlds were safe again. The people of the galaxy were safe again. The Unheard could be heard again.
The Elder laws were completely renovated. The Cilian cure was disposed of. Kyle oversaw research for another cure. A different one. One that wouldn't make people blow up.
